The core game is good and mostly problem free, but does have drawbacks and doesn't add anything that wasn't in the original Tetris. The game lacks both sound effects and music. Graphics are decent, but static. There is no counter for how many lines are cleared, only level and score. There is no customization (modes, difficulty, hide next piece, etc.).
More importantly, if a piece such as an L block is near the edge of the board, it becomes impossible to rotate it without moving it away first, which would be a significant problem at higher levels.
Overall, it's just Tetris with most of the options stripped off.
Neither was particularly amusing. Yanni & Dragunfyre seemed to have one that flowed together a bit better though, a bit more entertaining, and spent less time mocking the other team (meaning more time for a worthwhile flash). I'd give this to them.
As for the flash as a whole, it was good enough to stay in the portal and not much more. I've seen better competition flashes than this.
It's enough to make me interested in the real deal, that's for sure. But the music does need to be compressed better, as the file size was huge for such a short movie. Looked good, ran very well, and well laid out.
I don't even normally like shooting games, but this one is simply amazing. The controls are smooth, the targetting is accurate, and the enemies are fairly skilled. Beyond all that, randomly generated levels in a flash is also a real bonus!
There's nothing to this game. While simple games are often fun, the time limit on this is so high as to be relatively pointless, and the difficulty isn't really there. The earlier rounds needed to be dropped to bring the slightly harder rounds earlier, and they needed to be made more difficult. Perhaps add more possible colours for the rings so that the game doesn't remain monotonous. As it stands, this game doesn't really impress me.
I can agree with you on the monotonous point. But read the review above yours to see that the easier levels in fact can not be dropped. I guess it's just a matter of taste.
All 5 parts were great, and better yet, they seemed to flow into each other very well. I loved the music selection, and it was fitted perfectly to the animation. Pandemonium indeed. What else can I say? I loved it!
I'm not quite sure why, but I found something about this video very amusing. The art seems poor at first, but actually fits the overall style. Two things could've used work though -- it was difficult to understand the maiden's voice at times, and the pictures near the end needn't have shaken quite so much.
Great effort, and I hope things only get better for you.

Just a song
Just a couple lines of automated meaningless dialogue followed by a song with no animation whatsoever. This isn't really the place for posting music.
Not to mention you claim it's the only good song of the 70s, and as a Blues Brothers fan, that's just plain unforgivable!

Both halves mediocre at best.

Fairly good trailer

Wow.

All in all, an excellent game!

Brilliant.
Great concept, and well put together. Everything fit well, but it was the ending that really earned it this score. Good show!

Very . . . simple?

When doing sticks, this is how it should be done.

Amusing, to say the least!
I'm not quite sure why, but I found something about this video very amusing. The art seems poor at first, but actually fits the overall style. Two things could've used work though -- it was difficult to understand the maiden's voice at times, and the pictures near the end needn't have shaken quite so much.

Best. Outtakes. Evar.
Well, maybe, maybe not, but they were definitely the best part! I also liked the BB version (kitchen scene). What can I say? Keep up the great work!
